Sarah Hueniken will share some stories from her latest journey to Helmcken Falls with Arc'teryx Athlete Ines Papert. These two world renowned climbers spent many weeks at Helmcken Falls is located in Wells Grey park which is known for some of the craziest ice and mixed routes in the world!
ACMG Rock Guide Claire Ellick with share some stories of adventure as well as some insight on her work with some amazing local grassroots initiatives supporting access to climbing.
We'll begin the night with a screening of the short film "Pass It On" about a trio of Sea to Sky climbers share their love for the sport and see how they’ve spread that enthusiasm throughout their communities.
Sarah lives and works in Canmore AB as an ACMG alpine guide and is also a global athlete for Arcteryx, Scarpa and Sterling Ropes.
She's been fortunate enough to travel around the world to follow her passion but most enjoys guiding and climbing in her backyard. She is the Avalanche Canada Ice climbing Ambassador and the Executive Director of the Mountain Muskox.
