DETAILS

There will be 40 available spots for ski or snowboard waxing. REQUIREMENT the ski/snowboard has to have a clean base and no storage wax on them!

Skis and snowboards must be picked up at the end of the event. Please note we cannot store gear overnight.

Charlie Guest 

She started skiing at the age of three on the slopes of Cairngorm in the Scottish Highlands, Team GB ski racing athlete, and Great Britain's highest-performing women's skier at Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. Two Olympic Games under her belt.  

Join us for a sharing talk looking deep into her world as a professional skier and athlete, her journey and what challenges Charlie had to overcome during the years.

 Arc'teryx is known for supporting those pushing the barriers of their field in all mountain sports. Charlie Guest is no exception. Prepare for a fascinating talk displaying the intersection of technical innovations, mother nature, and pure human grit that ski racing represents.

 They are an independently managed ski servicing company based in Bromley. Joe and his team service everything by hand and does not use machines.  Although this takes more time, it offers better results and performance for your skis and snowboards. As ski and snowboard enthusiasts themselves, they prioritise customers and ensure the best service. 

 The founder, Joe is an ex-ski racer and instructor. He spent a season in La Plagne France in 2010 where he developed a passion for ski servicing. On returning to the UK he took a few ski tech courses and became the go-to man for ski service for friends and family before Batterski was born! Started back in 2016 in Battersea (hence the name) and have now moved our workshops to Bromley and Norwich. Joe & his wife Maeve love nothing more to spend the winters skiing; some of their favourite resorts are Val D'Isere, Niseko (Japan) and Breckenridge (US)."
