About Walter Zoerer 
Walter is an International Federation of Mountain Guides Associations (IFMGA) mountain guide and has been part of the Arc'teryx family for many years. From K2 to Cho Oyu and back at home in the Austrian Alps, Walter has been guiding since 1990 and feels just as passionate today about guiding as he did when he started. Walter is forever exploring and when he isn’t summiting something, he can be found spending long days surfing, diving or sailing as a skipper, for he loves the ocean as much as the mountains. 
 
With all this experience, it does not surprise to see his face as president of the commission for expeditions and trekking of the international guide association UIAGM / IVBV / IFMGA as well as president of the Austrian Mountain Guide Association.
