Oasis Skateboard Factory is an alternative school program, which allows high school students to earn credits toward their graduation by branding and developing their own skateboard design business. Focused on aiding at-risk youth, the school provides opportunities for students to build entrepreneurial skills, and learn how to grow a business
Starts with me focuses on creating platforms around mental health and wellness awareness and tools, to fill gaps in education, and the workplace. Their main goal is to increase the capacity for wellbeing in these spaces, and help individuals build resilience, increase productivity, and create open space for honest, responsible communication around these topics.Â
Great Lakes Open Water (GLOW) is an initiative that plans daily morning swims in Ontario for the GTA community, promoting an eco-friendly, sustainable, and healthy lifestyle. The organization also participates in community initiatives such as helping to create the first plastic-free park in the Oakville area, together with the Town of Oakville.
