Ski Resort: Northstar Resort

Pickup/Dropoff Locations: Santana Row (pickup 4am; see location below); San Francisco (pickup 5am; 549 Berry St near Mission Bay; see location below)

Arc'teryx NorCal is sponsoring a Tahoe Day Trip in partnership with Northstar Resort and Tahoe Ski Trips! Get stoked for ski season and experience all the snow Tahoe has gotten this year.

PLEASE READ

- Please arrive at minimum 15 minutes before the bus is scheduled to leave your pickup location. We want to honor everyone's time and get to the mountain with as much time to ski as possible. 

- If you're name is not on the guest list, you will not be admitted onto the bus. Please do not try and bring friends who have not purchased a ticket.

- Once the bus arrives at Northstar, you will be greeted by Arc'teryx Ambassadors with your lift ticket and food voucher, while Northstar reps will direct those who require equipment rentals and lessons to where they need to be.

- This is the first Saturday in over a month where Tahoe is seeing clear weather, so Northstar is anticipating this weekend being extremely busy. Please take this into consideration if the bus runs into traffic.

- Due to how busy Northstar anticipates tomorrow being, their transportation team cannot have the charter bus drive directly to the Village. Instead, they have instructed our bus to park in Lot 18 (Castle Peak), then Northstar will provide transportation to the Village transit center. The bus will pick up here and depart from here as well.

- The resort is open until 4pm. Please start heading to the bus then, as we aim to depart at 4:30pm. We ask you to please be patient with your fellow guests as everyone heads back to the bus and we make sure everyone is accounted for.

- The food vouchers can be redeemed at the Lodge at Big Springs and the Summit Smokehouse.

TRANSPORTATION & PASSES 

We know it's not easy to get to Tahoe from the Bay Area without a car. That's why Arc'teryx is partnering with Tahoe Ski Trips to take a bus to the resort, subsidizing the cost of transportation and lift ticket.

EACH TICKET INCLUDES:

- Lift Ticket

- Bus Ride

- Equipment Rentals* (if required; Northstar does not offer rentals for gear like jackets)

- Food Voucher (redeemable at the Lodge at Big Springs and the Summit Smokehouse)

*Goggles not included in equipment rentals. We recommend sunglasses or purchasing your own goggles ahead of time or at the resort day of.

PICKUP/DROPOFF

There will be two pickup/dropoff locations:

Santana Row (San Jose) - Hatton St between Olin Ave and Hemlock Ave (see maps below; pickup 4am)

San Francisco - 549 Berry St (near Mission Bay; pickup 5am)

Please select your pickup location when signing up. We will drop off where we picked up, leaving Northstar around 4:30pm once the mountain runs its last lift. This is an all-day event!

There will be water and light snacks on the bus ride up and back. No coffee. There is also a restroom on the bus. The bus will not stop on the way up or back.

ON THE MOUNTAIN

Once the bus arrives, Arc'teryx and Northstar will hand everyone their lift ticket and food voucher. For those renting equipment and/or taking lessons, Arc'teryx and Northstar will lead them to where they need to go. For those taking lessons, we have booked full-day beginner's lessons; feel free to ski/snowboard with the instructor and group for as long as you'd like!

You'll be joined on the mountain by Arc'teryx Ambassadors Jayme Kogel and Jean Weatherwax, as well as Arc'teryx Staff. You're free to join Arc'teryx on the mountain, ski with your friends or do your own thing.
