Get Stoked on Snow and Ice (Beginners)

Intro to recreating in the mountains in the winter. During our time together we’ll talk about how to stay safe and have fun outside during winter conditions – we will talk about strategies to stay warm (clothing and nutrition) and provide an intro to moving in the mountains on varied terrain. This will include an overview of what gear to use and how to use it – including microspikes, snowshoes, crampons and ice axes.
This is a beginner course.
