Join Arc'teryx Ambassador Rafaelo Infante for a scenic 4 mile out-and-back trail run behind Aspen Mountain to explore and discuss the diverse terrain of this stunning backcountry ski zone. We'll chat about potential winter lines, gear, and navigation—so bring your questions and have your favorite backcountry apps downloaded.
Â
This run is all about movement, connection, and building excitement for the snowy season ahead. Think of it as a recon mission with a runner’s rhythm and a skier’s spirit.
Â
Lace up and hit the trail with us for a high elevation 4-mile out-and-back run with Arc'teryx Aspen Ambassador Rafaelo Infante!
The trail starts at the Sundeck off Midnight Mine Road and follows Richmond Ridge, offering a steady incline with some rocky terrain. The gain is roughly 640 ft. Enjoy breathtaking scenery of sweeping vistas and open meadows with panoramic views.
We’ll keep a steady pace as we run through varied grades and aspects of this backcountry zone, with the option to explore farther if the group’s feeling energized.
Â
We will meet at 3:30pm @ the Paragliding Landing Zone off Marolt St in Aspen (across from the Chapel) and carpool to trailhead from there.Â
We are expecting to be back at the trailhead by 5:30pm and will carpool down following post-run refreshments!
Raised across Europe and Asia, now rooted in the Colorado Rockies, Rafaelo Moreira Infante has lived a life shaped by movement, culture, and elevation. A lifelong mountain athlete and creative storyteller, Rafaelo blends the physical with the purposeful—exploring backcountry lines, steep singletrack, and wild terrain with the same intensity he brings to his work in the food & beverage industry.
Rafaelo fell in love with F&B at age 13, and he’s been immersed in it ever since—building brands, leading creative strategy, and bringing people together around unforgettable taste and experience. His Brazilian heritage and global upbringing inspire a fluidity in how he moves through the world—nimble, grounded, and always looking for the next dish, and the next story.
He’s not just in it for the views—he’s in it for the process, the community, and the wild places that call us to move.
