Arc'teryx is partnering with Read & Run Chicago and Black Girls Read Book Club for an easy 5K run with Allison of Read & Run Chicago. After the run, join Allison of Read & Run Chicago and Cynthia of Black Girls Read Book Club for a pre-run fall book swap, snacks, drinks, and shopping at Arc’teryx.
Meet up details: Meet at 6pm on Wednesday, October 4 at the Arc'teryx Gold Coast for the easy 5K run. If you prefer to join for the book swap portion only, plan to arrive at 7pm!
What to bring: Bring a gently used book wrapped in a recycled or eco-friendly material (old shopping bags, newspaper, etc.). Write three describing adjectives on the wrapping. We highly recommend bringing a book written by a woman of color.Â
