Join Meaghan Sutter of Peak Training and Arc'teryx ambassador Abby Cooper for an introduction to hiking in the Whistler alpine. Meaghan and Abby will share their top tips to prepare for hiking before a group hike on the beautiful High Note Trail on Whistler Mountain.
Tickets are $15 and include pre-event virtual information session, coffee and snacks and Whistler Blackcomb sightseeing ticket (if required).

Meaghan and Abby share preparation tips including what to pack, how to prepare your body for hiking and what snacks to bring! This is a great opportunity to ask any questions ahead of the main event.

Gear Check and Coffee at Arc'teryx Whistler (1 hour)

Meet at the Arc'teryx Whistler store, where our friends at Forecast Coffee will ensure you're fully caffeinated and ready for the day! Collect some snacks for the day ahead thanks to Picnic Whistler and meet your new hiking buddies in person.

Hike (5-6 hours including upload and download of Whistler gondola)

After coffee, we'll walk to the Whistler gondola and upload to the Roundhouse lodge. We'll then take the short walk to the Peak Chair which takes us to the High Note trailhead.

We'll enjoy the High Note trail at the pace of the group, stopping for photo opportunities, water breaks, and some time to eat lunch.

Once we have completed our hike, we'll take the scenic Peak to Peak gondola to Blackcomb Mountain, where we will download and head to après!

The High Note hiking trail is rated as an intermediate trail and features some technical rocky sections and steeper pitches. Trail distance is 9.5km with 300m elevation gain. The trail takes 3-4 hours to complete. Dogs are not allowed on Whistler Blackcomb property other than certified guide or service dogs. Public Transport:
Most local buses stop in Whistler village - please check with the driver if you are unsure. The closest stops to the Arc'teryx store are Marketplace and Village Gate Blvd. Buses are currently free of charge.

Walking/biking:

The Arc'teryx store can be accessed on foot/by bicycle using the Whistler Valley Trail network. Please bring a lock for your bike as we do not have bike storage available.
Parking:

Paid full-day parking is available in the day lots. Parking lot 4 is closest to the Arc'teryx store.Â
