Mental and physical discomfort are often intertwined. It's in our nature to fear what we cannot control, to push our boundaries of comfort, and to learn from our most challenging moments.Â
Â
In this webinar, Arc'teryx Ambassador and founder of City Mountaineering, Stu Shipp, will share personal life lessons from being a 'towny' working in London through to his most difficult mountain experiences and lessons learned. "The more you stretch that comfort zone, the bigger it gets and the more you can achieve."Â
Premiering on the Arc'teryx UK Youtube channel this month. Click 'Reserve Your Spot' above to receive your link to the webinar!

Growing up in the flatlands of Milton Keynes, it wasn’t until he went to university that Stuart Shipp was first introduced to rock climbing and mountain hiking. Young, naive and thirsty for adventure, Stuart had a near fatal accident on his first expedition to Mont Blanc, which, undeterred, inspired him to learn more and push his own limits on the big mountains and he now leads mountain expeditions around the world.
Â
In 2016, he gave up his career in finance to follow his passion of being in the mountains and set up City Mountaineering, an adventure company that enables easy access to the mountains; allowing people to stretch their own comfort zones away from the city.
