What to Expect

This event is a part of our Lessons from the Mountains series.

Guided Training Run:

Arc'teryx athlete Kat Drew will lead you through a dynamic training session designed to prepare you for the technical terrain and mental endurance needed for the Minotaur Skyrace. 


Expert Tips and Advice:

Gain valuable insights on everything from nutrition to gear choices. Our athletes will share their top tips for conquering the race and performing at your peak. 


Arc'teryx Demo Fleet:

Test out Arc'teryx’s cutting-edge trail running shoes during the run. Feel the difference with footwear designed for comfort, performance, and durability on rugged terrain. 


Race Prep:

This training run is the perfect opportunity to familiarize yourself with the expected terrain, so you can tackle race day with confidence.

Schedule

5:30pm

Meet at the Old Buck Trail Head. Limited parking is available, please car pool where possible!


5:30pm-6pm

Meet the athlete, warm up and get set up with your demo shoes. Shoes are available on a FCFS basis - please wear shoes you are happy to run in if your size is not available.


6pm-7:30pm

We'll run a 10km loop on the trails (550m elevation gain on varied terrain) and Kat will share her tips and tricks to tackle what the trails throw at you!


7:30pm-8pm

Debrief, cool down, and Q&A with Kat.


8pm-9:30pm

Join us for a local après and refuel with some snacks and drinks post-run!
