Lynn Hill

Lynn Hill is one of the most iconic climbers in history. In 1993, she became the first person - man or woman - to free climb the Nose on El Capitan. A trailblazer in both competition and big wall climbing, Hill has long been a vocal advocate for equity, integrity, and safety in outdoor spaces.

About Sportrock

Sportrock Climbing Centers is a company of community-driven climbing gyms in Northern Virginia and Maryland. We are built on the foundational pillars of R.O.C.K.:

Route Setting – prioritizing the highest quality route setting and continually investing in route setting resources.

CLIMBATHON: How It Works

Climb anytime between September 13 - October 4

Goal: 3,000ft

Sportrock Members - $25

1. Sign up
2. Check your email for a Kaya password
3. Download the Kaya app + enter your password
4. Track your climbs September 13 - October 4

Non-Members - $50

1. Sign up

2. Track climbs at your local gym using the honor system
3. Log your total between September 13 - October 4
4. Your entry includes 2 day passes at any Sportrock location

Everyone who completes 3,000ft is entered to win a chance to climb with Lynn Hill on October 4!
