Join mindfulness teacher Sudan Green for a 45-minute meditation session intermixed with gentle movement, as well as a 20-30 minute guided meditation to music. If you have the space, you can bring anything you'd like to make yourself comfortable (mats, pillows, favorite blanket). We will also have mats available for you onsite!Â
Sudan Green is the founder of Spirits Up!, an event planner, artist, writer, yoga instructor, and mindfulness teacher. Born and raised in Philadelphia, where he founded Spirits Up!, Sudan's mission is to bring more healing, mental clarity, and encourage healthier lifestyles to BIPOC communities through Mindfulness, Movement, and Creative Arts. Sudan is an ambassador for Arc’teryx and also an avid hiker and climber who seeks to learn more about the lifestyle and sport!
Spirits Up! is a Philadelphia-based organization that invites and connects BIPOC individuals through yoga, meditation, music, arts, and alternative wellness. The organization provides vital resources that BIPOC communities often lack to support mental health and healing. Spirits Up! provides safe spaces for Black and Brown lives and works towards collective Black liberation.
