Protect Our Playground: Boulder Creek Path Cleanup!
Let's give back to our beautiful Boulder community! Leave No Trace and Arc'teryx Boulder are teaming up with the City of Boulder's Safe and Managed Public Spaces (SAMPS) team for a vital cleanup of the Boulder Creek Path. Volunteers will focus on removing litter and recyclables from the creek banks and bike path, ensuring a cleaner and safer environment for everyone. The SAMPS team will be on hand to address any safety concerns. Please come prepared with appropriate clothing and closed-toed sneakers or boots. Together, we can make a tangible difference!

- 7:30 AM: Coffee & Welcome
Grab a hot cup of coffee and connect with fellow volunteers. This is a great chance to get energized and ready for the day!
- 8:00 AM: Leave No Trace Presentation
Learn valuable insights from Leave No Trace about responsible outdoor ethics and how our cleanup efforts contribute to preserving natural spaces.
- 8:05 AM: City of Boulder Safety Talk
The City of Boulder's Safe and Managed Public Spaces (SAMPS) team will provide essential safety guidelines for the cleanup, ensuring everyone's comfort and well-being while working along the creek and path.
- 8:10 AM: Cleanup Begins!
Equipped with gloves and bags, we'll fan out along the Boulder Creek Path to collect recyclables and trash, making a tangible difference in our community.
- 10:00 AM: Cleanup Concludes
We'll wrap up our cleanup efforts. Thank you for your hard work and dedication!
- 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Leave No Trace Tabling
Stick around after the cleanup to learn more about Leave No Trace principles, ask questions, and discover how you can continue to protect our outdoor spaces.
- Please also register for this event through the City of Boulder Parks and Recreation Department here.
- Please wear appropriate clothing that you don't mind getting dirty.
- Closed-toed sneakers or boots are required for your comfort and safety during the cleanup.
- Gloves and bags will be provided.
