Join Arc'teryx and the American Alpine Club Chicago Chapter at the Arc'teryx Bucktown Outlet to learn the ropes on some climbing basics.

Expect a night full of fun as we practice and review different knots, simulate ascending or rappelling* down a rope, or set-up roped anchors, along with an extra bonus challenge or two. Plus, get to meet more people in the climbing community!

*While we will have an adjustable harness available for use, if folks prefer or are more comfortable in their own harness, please bring your harness to ascend or rappel.

This will be Part 1 of a series of Chicago Chapter American Alpine Club events that will promote fun and safe climbing outdoors. All knowledge and skill levels are welcome!
