Exclusive to Arc’teryx Piccadilly, dropping instore exclusively on 3rd October 2020 Arc’teryx Artist Series launches limited collection created by Greater Goods.
Greater Goods is a design project developed by London’s Jaimus Tailor, to promote sustainability and upcycling through functional and covetable offerings.
Arc’teryx Artist Series is an invitation to see possibility where others see dead ends. For radical intentions to generate wild reinterpretations. By centering artists and culture shapers, these localised experiments yield new ways of looking, limited edition offerings, and support for artist-chosen community initiatives.
Jaimus Tailor, 24, specialises in repurposing worn and damaged outerwear garments. Provided with a box full of unrepairable out-of-warranty Arc’teryx jackets, Tailor created a limited collection full of one-of-a-kind pieces, which will be offered for sale at the Arc’teryx Piccadilly store, 3 October 2020. Partial proceeds from the offering will go to support Flock Together, a grassroots non-profit newly started to crumble stereotypes and create community in the outdoors by bringing people of colour together to bird-watch.
“I gravitate towards creating physical products because you start with a piece of wood and end with a chair. You start with a broken jacket and end with a bag that’s going to be used every day.” - Jaimus Tailor, 2020
This limited collection will be available exclusively at Arc’teryx Piccadilly on October 3rd at 11am.
