"The only constant is change." - Heraclitus
Life is all about changes; seasons change, transiting from different phases of life, constantly evolving and improving.
With changes comes instability and the uncertainties, how do one keep anchored to what they hope to achieve?
This year Freddie was involved in 2 separate climbing festivals with diversity and inclusion in mind, across 2 seasons, and 2 continents.
Both festivals, he was imparting outdoor skills to people of colour, and created a short film from one of them.
Inspiring Talk: Dive deep into Freddie adventures and hear about compelling story.
Q&A Session: Have your questions ready! This is your chance to engage directly with Freddie.
Networking: Mingle with fellow adventurers and enthusiasts.
Refreshments: Enjoy delicious drinks and food, with vegan options available.
This event is going to be off the charts! Experience once of a life time. Story telling from Freddie for very last time instore. Final moment to see Freddie in person and have the chance to say good luck for the future.
Freddie originated from Singapore, but moved and lived across the world throughout his life.
Everywhere he goes, the outdoors has always been his anchor and his source of belonging. He is our all-rounder ambassador who is well-versed in all the disciplines of climbing, with snow and ice being his favourite disciplines. He does skyrunning, ultra-marathons and adventure racing.
He is well-involved in outdoor mentorship for people of colour and access work for trail maintenance and development of climbing areas all over the world.
Few of the notable achievements are ascents of Lhotse and Pumori in Nepal without aid of supplementary oxygen, solo winter ascent of Point Five Gully, Ben Nevis and Trinity Buttress of Yr Wyddfa, solo bike packing from Land’s End to John O’Groats, Wadi Rum Ultra, and Yading Skyrace.
