Andrew Hughes is a high-altitude mountaineer and endurance athlete based out of Seattle, Washington. Andrew continues on a journey exploring the world and its’ highest mountains. He has completed six of the Seven Summits (highest mountains on each continent) and six of the Seven Volcanic Summits (highest volcanoes on each continent) and is in pursuit of the rarely realized Explorers’ Grand Slam.
Â
Last year Andrew also became the fastest and first American man and third person ever to complete the Antarctica Trifecta with his climbing partner Roxanne Vogel by consecutively Skiing the Last Degree to the South Pole and reaching the summits of Mount Vinson (the highest mountain) and Mount Sidley (the highest volcano)

The Collective Seattle is a diverse community of creators, thinkers and doers together under one dynamic roof, known as Basecamp. Spend a morning catching up on emails, host a colleague for a lunch meeting, sweat it out on the bouldering wall in the afternoon, then wrap your day over brews with a friend - the space is dedicated to supporting your daily needs and whims.
Â
Activities and events serve as the social binder of Basecamp. These gatherings are strategically planned to generate dialogue, foster opportunities for collaboration, and encourage enjoyable interactions.
Â
Nourishment is the backbone of the community –– the fare, which is inspired by both season and the PNW, is designed to nourish mind, body and soul, and serves as the ever-present backdrop for creative collisions and peak experiences.
