In ‘Comfort in Uncomfortable Places’ Charlie will discuss his most recent expedition across Iceland in the dark depths of the Arctic winter, the unique challenges which seven weeks on the ice present and the unforeseeable outcome which involved isolated cabin fever, successive panic attacks and finding the very limits which one can push their mental capacity. Charlie will share unique insights into his experiences with ongoing frostbite, debilitating blindness and trying to find ‘comfort’ in the uncomfortable - detailing the tips and tricks he uses to help him endure through potentially one of the harshest expedition environments on the Earth.
