Join Alexia Leclercq, environmental justice organizer and policy director; Saoirse Exton, climate justice activist and UN Secretary General’s Youth Advisor; and Daphne Frias climate and disability justice organizer in conversation with Arc’teryx ambassador Pamela EA about the words that inspire change. The panel will be followed by music, snacks, and drinks, as well as an in-person raffle for Arc’teryx Gear. All proceeds will support Climate Words with their mission to promote climate literacy.
Pamela EA is a documentary photographer, climate activist, and explorer. She co-founded Climate Words to promote climate literacy by curating an extensive lexicon of key words submitted by experts on the frontlines.
Climate Words is a non-profit organization that is giving people the tools they need to talk about climate. They invite authors, scientists, Indigenous leaders, policy-makers, explorers and designers to select a word that is central to their climate work and define it in their own voice. Each definition is supported with factual information, photographic evidence, literature and resources for further learning.
“We want to bring people together, reconnect them with the Earth, and inspire them to align their work with a regenerative and resilient future.”
