Revelstoke, we'd like to introduce ourselves.
Come out to up your skills, get into the Revelstoke backcountry, and send some of the best lines on the resort. We start on Friday night with a free climb night at Quartzite climbing. On Saturday we will be at the gondola plaza where you can drop-off your Arc'teryx Gore-tex and down for complimentary wash and proof. Finally, the weekend culminates on Sunday with a full day of small group clinics on the resort and in the slackcountry.
Friday: Climb night @ Quartzite Climbing Gym LTD
Saturday: Gore-tex and down drop-off
Sunday: Clinic Day!
Beginner/Intermediate Backcountry Ski/Board
Join Arc'teryx BC ambassador, Abby Cooper, on a day of easy backcountry fun.
Geared to those with minimal backcountry experience and those who need to shake off some rust. This day will focus on how to safely travel in the backcountry, reading the conditions, and rescue practice. Come out so you can be more confident getting out there!
Intermediate In-Bounds Skiing/Boarding
Join Arc'teryx Kelowna ambassador, Alex Taylor, and RMR freeride instructors for a fun-filled day inside the ropes on Revelstoke Mountain Resort.
This clinic is going to be on the resort, hot lapping all over the mountain, hitting mostly intermediate terrain (group-dependent). Some focuses will be finding fun side hits, picking dynamic lines, and feeding off each other's energy.
Advanced In-Bounds Skiing/Snowboarding
Join RMR Freeride instructors to find the biggest lines on the resort.
This day will involve a good amount of lapping areas with big lines and big fun. Focuses will be on reading the terrain, choosing a line that caters to your style, and how to step up into bigger terrain.
Intermediate Backcountry Ski/Board
Come hang out with backcountry guide, Sara Howatt, to learn all about skiing the backcountry of Revelstoke Mountain Resort.
Head out with your group to see everything just outside the boundary of RMR. Sara will show you some of her secret spots, give you insights into the Shushwap snowpack, and get some fun laps in!
Weather and conditions are unpredictable year-round and constantly affect the decisions we make in planning and executing trips. If conditions do not prove adequate to complete a specific objective to your trip, we will have a contingency plan for an alternate objective. If your trip is affected by weather, you will be contacted as soon as possible.
We do our best to provide the best experience possible under every circumstance. It is not practical for us to issue refunds if a client is unsatisfied with the weather. Please keep in mind that safety is always our number one priority and your guide will always act in your best interest in this regard.
Tickets and purchases are non-refundable, though may be transferred to another interested/qualified individual. No credit will be given for a participant's failure to attend any clinics for which they are registered.
Please consider travel insurance to cover any injuries or other reasons for cancellations.
If the event is cancelled by Arc'teryx, registrants may be extended a full refund.
