Meet the CRGÂ coaches:
Â
Naomi - Naomi is is a trad mom turned gym climber from the southwest. Sharing knowledge and building up confidence in wild places is her absolute jam. The community aspect of climbing is what makes it her lifetime endeavor. As a young outdoor climber, Naomi recognized the incredible luck she received in mentorship. That is why she has made it her goal to support the climbing community by sharing knowledge and safest practices in a comprehensive and inclusive way. With over eight years of climbing, she has coached climbers in formal and informal settings inside and out of the gym, including supporting clients through their first top rope and lead climbs, to placing gear and building anchors. Recently, she has been as an ambassador for the Ladies Climbing Collation. Watching new climbers fall in love with the sport is by far what she finds most rewarding.Â
Gus - Gus has seven years of coaching experience, working with both adults and kids. He has coached new climbers as well as accomplished climbers who have gone on to compete at the national level. Gus’ coaching style focuses on having fun while challenging oneself both physically and mentally.
