Join Arc'teryx Portland and Big Yard for a morning hike through Washington Park that will connect community to the outdoors.
We're excited to share the experience of hiking Portland's classic Washington Park Trails with our local Arc'teryx and Big Yard communities. Enjoy the environment and ambiance of hiking followed by snacks, drinks, and recovery at the Arc'teryx Portland store on NW 23rd Ave.
WHEN: Saturday, February 17th. 10:00AM - 12:30PM
WHERE: All Hike participants will meet at the Arc'teryx Portland Store at 9:45AM on Saturday, February 17th for check-in and introductions. Arc'teryx Portland and Big Yard staff will be at the store to check you in and confirm everyone has the adequate gear, water and nutrition for the morning. Please come prepared with your gear and enough energy to be active for most of 2 hours.
LEVEL: All Levels.
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN: This session is for absolutely anyone of all skill levels and sport or art practice of choice to come enjoy classic Washington Park trails. There will be a Mindful Moment during the middle of the hike led by local Wellness Instructor, Rach Junard!
GEAR REQUIREMENTS:
• Hiking / Trail Running Shoes
• Water bottle
• Comfortable & breathable layers
• Rain jacket
*Please note this is not an exhaustive list. Please come prepared for the hike and ensure you can be comfortable throughout the hike including possible weather after the session while traveling.
ACCESSIBILITY:
Washroom & changing rooms are available for hike participants. Water and refreshments available during and after the session. Parking is available near the Arc'teryx Portland Stores.
