Event Details

Join Yupik and Samoan engineer Charitie Ropati; former Youth Advisor on Climate Change to the UN Secretary-General, Beniamin Strzelecki; organizer and host of Authors on Climate Words; and co-founder of the Hoods to Woods Foundation, Omar Diaz, in conversation with Arc’teryx ambassador Pamela EA.

Pamela EA is a documentary photographer, climate activist, and explorer. She co-founded Climate Words to promote climate literacy by curating an extensive lexicon of key words submitted by experts on the frontlines.

Climate Words is a non-profit organization that is giving people the tools they need to talk about climate. They invite authors, scientists, Indigenous leaders, policy-makers, explorers and designers to select a word that is central to their climate work and define it in their own voice. Each definition is supported with factual information, photographic evidence, literature and resources for further learning.

The panel will be followed by music, snacks, and drinks, as well as an in-person raffle for a ReGear Item.
