How far can buses, trains, and your own two feet take you? Last winter, Silvia Moser, Max Kroneck, Joi Hoffmann and Loic Isliker set out to answer that question, skiing their way through Eastern Europe while relying solely on public transit. Follow along as the team encounters everything from deep days weaving through the trees of Tarvisio to high-alpine sunset laps in Romania, finding depth in the unexpected, and a newfound appreciation for the moments in between.
Tim Sackbauer is a skier hailing from Vail, Colorado who was also born with Down syndrome. Introduced to the mountains by his family, a tight-knit bunch with skiing in their DNA, he learns to carve his own path and rise above expectations. Taking to the slopes, he finds a refuge for expression, solace, and a way to navigate the complicated world around him.
To most skiers in British Columbia, Ts’zil (Mount Currie) is a true gem. The gorgeous mountain looms high above Pemberton and is home to many stories of skiers and snowboarders pushing themselves on the classic lines of its Northwest Face. But while Ts’zil is the backdrop to life in the valley, it’s easy to forget that the history of Ts’zil goes much deeper than what's been skied or snowboarded.

Samuel Crossley does whatever it takes to safely document athletes as they push themselves in remote areas and high risk situations. Big mountains and tired climbers fuel his creativity as he travels out of his Sprinter Van.
Samuel lives his professional life openly gay and is passionate about revealing diverse stories from within the climbing and outdoor community. When not traveling, Samuel is happy and cozy in Oakland, CA where he lives with his husband. As technology evolves, the process of learning new tools excites Samuel. Shooting with everything from an iPhone to an Arri Alexa, his breadth of technical knowledge enables him to focus on what's important, storytelling.
