At the season closer femme climb Stephanie will be focusing combining all the techniques taught from previous events to project on climbs.
Together we’ll learn about:
• The foundational climbing techniques: Endurance and Projecting
And then, there’ll be time to practice and showcase your new skills, plus a chance to win some Arc'teryx goodies in a mini elimination-style competition!
Equipment
Climbing passes + shoe rentals will be provided free of charge and there will be complimentary snacks and drinks courtesy of DeMello Coffee!

Notes
This female-led event is created to provide a brave space for women and female-identifying folks to explore climbing without feeling intimidated or uncomfortable. The goal is to offer a chance to learn and grow together, and give participants a sense of the climbing community.
We kindly ask all participants attending the event to stay for the entire duration of the workshop and refrain from climbing away from the group.
The Ontario Alliance of Climbers (“the OAC”) is a volunteer non-profit that represents tens of thousand of rock climbers from across the province and collaborators with stakeholders to steward access to outdoor rock climbing.
They fight for continued access to climbing in many ways, including: educating climbers on Leave No Trace etiquette, leading annual crag clean ups, working with land managers to perform site assessments and establish climbing management plans, organizing the porta potties at Metcalfe, and most notably, running their current #SaveOntarioClimbing campaign.
Who hasn’t signed a letter is encouraged to do so at Climb In Parks!
