Â
Keeping your muscles loose and maintaining blood flow is vital for improving performance in the lead-up to a major race day, being sure to avoid untimely fatigue and injury. This is the key function of a shakedown run.Â
Â
Prior to the day of the London Marathon, we will be meeting on that (hopefully cool) morning to complete a relaxed, preplanned 5km route. This will be the best setting to connect with our running community and ease any nerves you may have about the following day ahead.
Â
There will be ample opportunity to receive guidance from our running experts, ambassador Haroon Mota, run coach Semeena Khan and two Chicago Ambassadors Justin and Eric.
