Arc'teryx Portland Trail Fest 2024

Join us June 2nd at Arc'teryx Portland for a series of approachable and challenging Trail Races through stunning Forest Park terrain.


Choose your distance option of a 10K, and/or 20K race and enjoy a classic trail festival atmosphere featuring footwear demos, local ambassadors, food and refreshments!


Racer Registration is $10 with all proceeds donated  to We Run Long, a nonprofit organization seeking to expand the presence of BIPOC trail runners in the sport while honoring Indigenous Lands and amplifying diversity at races and beyond. This is an ALL SKILL LEVELS and ALL INCLUSIVE Race, provided for our Portland Trail Running Community.

ABOUT

ARC'TERYX PORTLAND TRAIL FEST: 

SUMMER '24

WHERE: All race participants will meet at the Arc'teryx Portland Store on NW 23rd.

 

WHEN: PLEASE ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO YOUR RACE START. Athletes and guides will be at the store to check you into your session and confirm everyone has the adequate gear, water and nutrition for the race. Please come prepared with your gear for before and after your race as we'll provide a secure bag check for EACH racer. 


WHO: This is an ALL SKILL LEVELS and ALL INCLUSIVE Race, provided for our Portland Trail Running Community. 


WHAT: Choose your distance option of a 10K, or 20K race and enjoy a classic trail festival atmosphere featuring footwear demos, local ambassadors, food and refreshments, and post-race celebrations!


PARTICIPANTS: 100 MAX PER RACE DISTANCE (150 TOTAL RACERS PER DAY)

 

GEAR REQUIREMENTS: 

• Trail Shoes

• Comfortable and breathable clothing for throughout the day. 
• Soft Flask or Soft Cup Recommended (THIS IS A CUP FREE RACE)

• Trekking Poles are allowed. 

 

*Please note this is not an exhaustive list. Please come prepared for the race and ensure you can be comfortable throughout the day including possible whether after or before.


COURSE MAP AND PROFILE: All distances will run a variation of our beautiful Forest Park Course marked by our Race Director. See full details, maps, and data below.


AID STATIONS: 

10K AID STATION: At the intersection between Holman Lane and Wildwood Trail right off of NW Aspen Ave (4 miles in).


20K AID STATIONS: At the intersection between Holman Lane and Wildwood Trail (4 miles in) right off of NW Aspen Ave. and on NW Thurman Street in the Parking Lot exiting NW Leif Erikson Drive (9.8 miles in).


BIB PICKUP: Bib packets will available to pick up at the Arc'teryx Portland Store Friday from 4-6pm, Saturday 11am-6pm and before your race on Sunday.


POST RACE CELEBRATIONS: All participants and volunteers get post race food and beverages provided. Friends and family are also welcome to enjoy our finish line celebrations while we cheer on all the race finishers!  


PET/DOG POLICY: Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome at Arc'teryx Portland all day during our Finish Line Social and at crew-accessible aid stations with their spectating owners, but NOT on the course to accompany a racer.

 

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: We have tons of different volunteer opportunities such as aid stations, finish line, sweepers, and course support. Please contact us at shop.portland@arcteryx.com if you'd like to assist in a certain area. 

 
ACCESSIBILITY: 


Washroom & changing rooms are available for ALL participants and supporters. Street and Lot Parking is available near the Arc'teryx Portland store.

Gabriel was born and raised in the Bronx, NYC and has been in Portland the last 8 years. Now an avid hiker in the Columbia River Gorge, he is rounding out his first year as a trail runner.

SYLAN SHOE
