Arc'teryx Portland Trail Fest 2025


Join us June 29th at Arc'teryx Portland for a series of approachable and challenging Trail Races through stunning Forest Park terrain.


Choose your distance option of a 10K or 20K race and enjoy a classic trail festival atmosphere featuring footwear demos, local ambassadors, food and refreshments!


Racer Registration is $10 with all proceeds donated  to Forest Park Conservancy, a nonprofit organization whose mission is focused on protecting Forest Park and Marquam Nature Park's ecological health while encouraging responsible recreation and access.

 

This is an ALL SKILL LEVELS and ALL INCLUSIVE Race, provided for our Portland Trail Running Community.

ABOUT

ARC'TERYX PORTLAND TRAIL FEST 2025

WHERE: All race participants and volunteers will meet on Leif Erikson at the Wild Cherry Trailhead

 

WHEN: Please arrive no later than 30 min prior to race start to ensure you have time to park and walk to the start line. 


WHO: This is an ALL SKILL LEVELS and ALL INCLUSIVE Race, provided for our Portland Trail Running Community. 


WHAT: Choose your distance option of a 10K or 20K race and enjoy a classic trail festival atmosphere featuring footwear demos, local ambassadors, food and refreshments, and post-race celebrations!

 

GEAR REQUIREMENTS: 

• Trail Shoes

• Comfortable and breathable clothing for throughout the day. 
• Soft Flask or Soft Cup Recommended (THIS IS A CUP FREE RACE)

• Trekking Poles (optional)

 

*Please note this is not an exhaustive list. Please come prepared for the race and ensure you can be comfortable throughout the day including possible weather after or before.

 

SHOE DEMOS:

Please arrive a minimum of 45 minutes prior to your start time if you would like to demo a pair of Norvan LD4 or Sylan shoes. These will be shared on a first come, first serve basis. 

 

COURSE MAP AND PROFILE: All distances will run a variation of our beautiful Forest Park Course marked by our Race Director. See full details, maps, and data below.


AID STATIONS: 

20K: At the intersection between 53rd ave and Birch 


BIB PICKUP: Bib packets will available to pick up at the Arc'teryx Portland Store (206 NW 23rd Ave, Temp Location) Friday from 10-6pm, Saturday 11am-6pm and before your race on Sunday. Bib pickup will happen at the trailhead on Sunday 6/29 if you didn't pickup on Friday or Saturday. 


POST RACE CELEBRATIONS: All participants and volunteers get post race food and beverages provided. Friends and family are also welcome to enjoy our finish line celebrations while we cheer on all the race finishers!  


PET/DOG POLICY: We love dogs, but our furry friends will not be allowed on the trail. They are welcome at the start/finish line only.

 

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: We have tons of different volunteer opportunities such as aid stations, finish line, sweepers, and course support. Please use the register button above to volunteer. 

 
ACCESSIBILITY: 

Portable toilets will be available.

Street parkings is available on Thurman Lane and surrounding streets.

We'll be offering a full footwear demo of the Norvan LD 4 and Sylan. Please plan to arrive a minimum of 45 min early if you would like to check a pair out to race in.

Gabriel was born and raised in the Bronx, NYC and has been in Portland the last 8 years. Now an avid hiker in the Columbia River Gorge, he is rounding out his first year as a trail runner.

DEMO OPTION

SYLAN SHOE

 With an evolved design fine-tuned for alpine running, the Vertex delivers the confidence and security to push off trail and scramble at speed. The upper – made from 100% recycled PFC-free polyester – is durable and breathable, and an integrated knit collar helps seal out debris.
