Take your backcountry experience to another level with Arc'teryx Athlete Michelle Parker and Alpenglow Expeditions in the Tahoe backcountry.

Learn how to navigate terrain on the way up and down while elevating your knowledge in the mountains.

This event is part of our Prep Series for Arc'teryx Backcountry Academy in Mammoth, CA (March 7-9, 2025).

Advanced Backcountry Ski Tour With Michelle Parker

Pre-Requisites:

• Longterm experience (50+ days) skiing/riding a variety of terrain and snow conditions, including powder as well as variable & marginal conditions
• Minimum two years of backcountry skiing/splitboarding expereince
• AST 1 or equivalent required

What You Will Learn:

• Route finding while on the approach

• Route finding on the way down
• Travel techniques
• Touring techniques
• Ski tips!

Important Details:

• Space is limited to 10 spots, purchase your ticket above

• Guests are asked to meet at Alpenglow Expeditions in the Palisades Tahoe ski village by 8:00am

• Guests please bring your own water and food

• After the clinic, meet back up at Alpenglow Expeditions for an Arc'teryx goodie bag!

• Please fill out the Alpenglow waiver in the sign-up form

• Guests will receive a separate email from Alpenglow, which includes information on waivers, client questionnaire, required equipment, and parking instructions.
